IQ Battery 5P & Controller 3

The Enphase IQ Battery 5P, which is a 5 kWh, is AC coupled and can be installed for storing excess solar for when the sun goes down. To use the battery for backup power an Enphase IQ System Controller is installed with the battery. During outages, the IQ System Controller isolates the solar system from the grid and connects the storage.

It has a total usable energy capacity of 4.96 kWh and includes six embedded grid-forming microinverters with 3.98kVA power rating. It provides backup capability and installers can quickly design the right system size to meet the needs of both new and retrofit solar customers.
