The Mitsubishi compact and ultra quiet SLZ cassette, fits neatly into your ceiling cavity leaving only the grilled visible. Its low energy consumption, four way air distribution and versatile control make it ideal if you are looking to heat a smaller room in your home or office. This unit comes standard with infrared 24 hour remote.
Compact Design
Mitsubishi ceiling cassettes are New Zealand’s favourite. With the lightweight unit sitting in your ceiling space, only the grille is visible providing easy, discreet installation into your home or office.
Multi Directional Airflow
With four-way air outlets, Mitsubishi cassettes provide maximum comfort by evenly distributing airflow throughout the area you need to heat or cool.
Air Cleaning Filtration
A built in filter removes dust and contaminants keeping air purified and deodorised. The washable, long-life filter can be used for up to 2,500 hours with simple maintenance.
Versatile Control
The cassette series comes equipped with your choice of either an infra-red remote 12 hour controller or a wired, LCD wall mounted 7 day controller.
Fresh Air Intake
A duct opening is provided in the main body, making it possible to draw fresh air from outside.
DC Inverter with PAM Control
Inverter technology matches compressor speed to your indoor heating or cooling requirements, unlike older “fixed-speed” types which simply alternated between on and off. PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation) provides higher efficiency within the inverter by controlling the amount of power drawn.
Guaranteed Low Temperature Performance
All Mitsubishi Electric Heat Pumps are guaranteed to provide heating at low temperatures. The heat pumps supply heating right down to -15°C.
Long Life Filter
To provide deodorising and air purifying performance, these washable filters can be used for up to 2,500 hours.
24 Hour Timer on Remote
A feature of the infra-red remote controllers provided with Mitsubishi heat pumps, which allows the unit to be pre-programmed to start up or turn off according to your schedule on a daily basis. Programming your heat pump to start up before you wake or return home means you can enjoy total comfort with ease.
Auto Changeover
The system will automatically switch between heating and cooling once the desired temperature is reached, to maintain the room temperature without user intervention. For example, on a frosty morning the unit will operate in heating mode to maintain a room temperature of 21°C. Once the sun rises and begins to warm the room, the unit can switch to cooling to maintain the 21°C set temperature.
Self Diagnosis
Loaded with automatic diagnosis functions, fault or failure recall mode and other sophisticated aids, troubleshooting is immediate though problems are rare.
Multi Room Connection
Almost all of the indoor components of the systems listed in this brochure are available for connection to Multi-Split Outdoor units. For system designs to suit entire homes, you are free to select from a variety of indoor unit styles, not limited to one type.
