Warmer Kiwi Homes Funding

Everyone deserves a warm, dry home. The Warmer Kiwi Homes program provides up to 90% or $3,450 (including GST) towards the cost of purchasing and installing an energy-efficient heat pump, helping you save on power bills while enjoying a healthier living environment.

Eligibility criteria:

Your home was built before 2008
You own and live in the home
Your home has ceiling and underfloor insulation that meets EECA standards (a free check can be arranged with a WKH insulation provider if needed)
Your home does not already have a fixed heater in the main living area (such as a heat pump, wood/pellet burner, flued gas heater, or central heating system)

What the grant covers:

Up to 90% of the cost of an approved heat pump for your main living area (capped at $3,450 including GST).
